Baldyga Group is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of Kårera -- the largest and most spectacular island show in the world -- opening May 26th, 2023 in the newly renovated 500 seat SandCastle Theater in Guam. Journey to adventure on a Voyage of Wonder with this fun-filled, family-friendly live show. Audiences of all ages will thrill exotic fire dancers, breathtaking acrobatics, live musicians and stunning visual and special effects on a stage larger than any on Broadway: a complete sensory experience with a comprehensive team of over 50 performers from Guam, Samoa, North America and Europe. Over 40+ of the world's top designers and show creators have come together, drawing on their work with Cirque du Soleil and Franco Dragone as well as the iconic concerts of Madonna, U2 and the Rolling Stones to create this magnificent island-themes extravaganza. The show features world-class multimedia including an immersive L Acoustics surround sound system, a video screen as large as IMAX, and the world's largest high-speed motorized screen. Video content was created by the world's leading video content creators, Drop the Spoon, a prestigious group also responsible for Franco Dragone's works. The all-original musical score and lyrics was composed by Cirque du Soleil composers Guy Dubuc and Marc Lessard (known as Bob & Bill) and features authentic Chamorro chant perfectly fused with island instruments and contemporary music tracks.
